燃气阀门应用现状随着燃气事业的发展，燃气专用阀门的需求量越来越大，生产厂家不断地推出新产品，以适应市场竞争的需要。目前，我国埋地用燃气阀门从结构形式分主要有闸阀、球阀、蝶阀。传动方式主要有手动、蜗轮传动、电动、气动、气—液联动等。安装方式有需建闸井和直埋两种。据有关资料显示，在城镇煤制气输配系统中应用最广的是手动式闸阀。以天津市为例，我市河北、红桥、北辰三个区共有中压管道120多公里，阀门 300多个，其中80%以上是闸阀，其次为蝶阀、球阀。在实施气源转换工程之前，上述三个区燃气管道中运行的是人工煤气。人工煤气中含有较多的杂质，尤其是焦油、芳香烃和粉尘混合形成的“煤气胶”经常影响阀门密封甚至"咬死"阀杆。因此在阀门的选用上我们主要选择那些从结构特点能解决这一问题的阀门，从而保证阀门启闭灵活、无泄漏。经过多年的实践摸索和数据分析，我们发现闸阀（包括平行双闸板闸阀和弹性密封单闸板闸阀）比较适用。但随着天代煤工程的结束，燃气的性质发生了变化。天然气较煤制气洁净干燥，但含有砂粒质粉尘，压力也较煤制气高，在高压力作用下砂粒粉尘将对阀门内腔形成较强的冲刷作用且天然气中含有腐蚀性极强硫化氢，因此如何在城镇地下管道上选用天然气阀门是摆在我们面前的新课题。
